The Sovereignty Of Divine Grace

God is always sovereign in the exercise of his saving grace. He chose some and passed by others. He calls some and passes by others. He has mercy on whom he will have mercy. He has compassion on whom he will have compassion. And he hardens whom he will harden. This fact of absolute sovereignty is plainly revealed in Holy Scripture (Romans 9:1-33), so that all might know that “Salvation is of the Lord!” Guilty, helpless, condemned sinners will be wise to sue for mercy at the throne of grace. If he will, God can save you.
